Planning ahead for what happens if we can't speak for ourselves, or we die is an act of love. The Advance Care Planning group with representatives from Room One, Okanogan Palliative Care, Family Health Centers and Methow At Home are organizing a three part series to help our community know the steps to take to be more prepared in life.

This evening will address ways to set our loved ones up for success in our end of life planning. Dr. Betsy Weiss, Bo Thrasher, Tracy Sprauer, Suzy K and Phoebe Hershenow will be speaking about:
1) Things to understand about MAID (Medical Aid in Dying) and VSED (Voluntary Stopping of Eating and Drinking)
2) What is a death doula
3) Let's talk about home funerals and vigils
4) Disposition options for our physical body in WA State
