Ducks in a Row-Medical and Care Planning

Planning ahead for what happens if we can't speak for ourselves, or we die is an act of love. The Advance Care Planning group with representatives from Room One, Okanogan Palliative Care, Family Health Centers and Methow At Home are organizing a three part series to help our community know the steps to take to be more prepared in life.

This evening will address ways to set our loved ones up for success in our medical and care planning. There will be speakers from Okanogan Palliative Care, Family Health Center, Okanogan Aging and Adult Care and Jamie's Place to discuss:
1) The Advance Care Planning Process and the various forms including the POLST, Karen Jacobsen and Sheila Brandenburg
2) What is the difference between Palliaitve Care and Hospice, Sheila Brandenburg
3) In-home care options, Mallory Taylor
4) Programs and eligibility from Aging and Adult Care, AnDee De Rosier
