For the past two years Dr. Raleigh Bowden has led fantastic book groups for Methow At Home. This year, she will be taking a journey with the life giving poetry of Irish poet, John O'Donohue. Besides her work as a doctor, she is a writer with a long-standing interest in the poetry of John O’Donohue, and is a member of several writing groups.

Raleigh Bowden MD is a retired physician living in the Methow Valley since 2010. Trained in oncology, infectious diseases and palliative care, she helped found both the Lookout Coalition (2010), a volunteer house-call based practice to help people facing serious illness, aging and end of life, and the Okanogan Palliative Care Team. She currently serves on the Board of Jamie’s Place Adult Family Homes.
