Do you realize that you can use our public transportation to go skiing at the South Summit up on the Loup? Join Carolyn Loren for a fun ski. Friday is grooming day, you can choose your own trail loop or stick with the group. 

Carolyn has used public transport to backpack in the Grand Canyon and the PCT, and is part of Resilient Methow’s Transportation Committee.  She skis most days as the perfect way to love winter and loves to watch for wildlife tracks.  She’s been a park ranger including in Yellowstone and Everglades national parks, so we should be able to find things in common to talk about as we ride the bus.

You can jump on Trango in Winthrop at The Barn with Carolyn at 9:20 and then transfer in Twisp on the other side of the road from Hank's to the Loup bus. Or you can park and ride from Twisp and jump on the bus with everyone there at Hank's at 10.

Bring your skis, everything you need to be comfortable for a fun ski, lunch, water, etc.
