Over the past few decades, plastic has become an infamous environmental pollutant. It litters the roadsides, is found in waterways, in marine life, and even in our drinking water. Despite this, plastic remains a key part of our modern lives. We need to use less disposable plastic for the sake of our health and the health of the planet. Join Methow Recycles on Wednesday October 27th at 9am to learn about simple changes you can make to decrease the amount of plastic in your life. We’ll talk about the types of plastic that is best to avoid, various alternatives to plastic, and we’ll also look at the new bag bill that recently went into effect in Washington State
