"Global warming" can seem distant, abstract, and beyond our control.  But let's break it down together:  the causes of the problem are local - primarily in our transportation and energy systems.  The impacts are local too, as climate change disrupts our water supply, increases dangerous heat waves, and makes forest fires more intense.  And most important of all, so many of the solutions are local!   Join daughter-father team Dana Golden and KC Golden for an intergenerational conversation about how climate change affects us and what we can do about it, working together in our community to implement the new Methow Valley Climate Action Plan and building our power as citizens to win state, national, and global solutions. This event is in partnership with Resilient Methow as part of International Climate Week.
