Big History: A Short History of Nearly Everything with Dana Visalli

Program 1 The Universe is Very Orderly! 
In this first program we cover the major themes of Big History, those being 1) the universe has grown increasingly complex over time, 2) emergence; new phenomena are constantly appearing, 3) there are major thresholds in the journey, like the appearance of life on Earth, and 4) the existence of conditions that seem to be 'just right' for life on Earth: scientists call these 'The Goldilocks Effect.'
