Her state of Michoacan is well known for celebrating this special holiday of honoring our beloved departed. The traditions involve building altars decorated with marigolds, flags, foods and other symbolic offerings that represent the connection between the worlds. You will learn more about the symbolism of the holiday, how to build your own altar and more about the roots of these customs.
