Methow At Home
Join historian Richard Hart for a history lesson of the Sinixt Tribe who occupied territory along the Columbia River from Kettle Falls North to Revelstoke. Disease and violence forced them south to the Colville Valley. When Whites objected to their presence there they moved across the River to the Kelly Hills area. When the US government took that land they moved to the Inchelium area. When Grand Coulee Dam flooded that area they moved again. In the meantime Canada declared them extinct. Yet they are still here and pursuing their rights. A Zoom link will be sent out on Thursday morning to all registered registrants.
