This will be a 1/2 hour, highly condensed version of a 6-part class Dana taught last winter.
He will hit the high points of the North American continent's journey, from the formation of
continental rock, the appearance of the West Coast where there was formerly ocean, the advance
of the Inland Sea, the biggest volcanic explosion that no one has heard of (La Garita in Colorado),
dinosaurs, mammoths, Ice Ages and the appearance Home sapiens. Some time for questions and
conversation at the end.
