Methow At Home seeks an Executive Director with a strong appreciation for the strength of community and a demonstrated commitment to service-oriented leadership.  The successful candidate will evidence leadership in building relationships based on flexibility, creative and open-minded approaches, and best practices of small non-profit organizations.

About Methow At Home (MAH)...

MAH, a 501(c)(3) membership organization, bases its Mission on the Virtual Village concept of helping neighbors to age safely in their homes.  Equally important, MAH provides social, cultural and educational programs, with the aim of lessening social isolation. We are an equal opportunity employer. Position open until filled.

Operating since December 2015, MAH currently boasts a membership of over 200, a volunteer base of 180, and a strongly engaged Board of Directors.  Now widely recognized as an asset to our community, MAH has recently expanded plans for services and programs targeting all seniors in the area. We also anticipate launching an advocacy component which could affect seniors in our entire county.

The Board will look to the Executive Director…

  • To execute the MAH Mission of supporting our members who wish to age in place

  • To lead us through refinements to our Vision and Strategic Plan

  • To provide energizing implementation of all elements of our Vision

  • To be accountable for all MAH operations

The Executive Director Position is...

Part-time to start (20 hours/week)

Salary range $28,000 - $33,000 D.O.E.

Benefits to include contribution to medical coverage, paid time off and holidays

Position Responsibilities...

  • Work effectively with the Board and Program Manager to ensure that MAH Vision and Strategic Plan are implemented.

  • Ensure that MAH’s Comprehensive Fund Development Plan will sustain operations.

  • Be accountable for all financial operations of MAH.

  • Generate new program ideas while developing and implementing existing ones.

  • Build relationships with potential partner organizations.

  • Oversee all MAH Operations.

  • Steward MAH technology needs.

Desired Qualifications...

  • B.A., graduate degree or commensurate experience.

  • Experience in a community-based non-profit.

  • Proven leadership working in teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage partnerships.

  • Strong technology skills including fiscal management, website management, and report-driven program evaluation.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience in revenue generation/fundraising.

  • Commitment to effective organizational management.

  • Demonstrated investment in the open, inclusive, engaged, supportive and nurturing atmosphere of MAH.
