Finding Meaning and Life After Loss: a Community Conversation
with local Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Sue Peterson
At The WInthrop Library Community Room

This enlivening 90 minute talk and conversation will focus on the work of David Kessler, author of the book Finding Meaning: The Sixth Stage of Grief, as a lens to see new pathways that can help us find meaning in our experiences of loss. Sue will be facilitating a safe and uplifting conversation that honors the pain of grief and the possibilities of growth through our experiences.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Sue received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington and a M.S. in Community Counseling from Georgia State University.
Additionally, Sue is a Certified Professional Coach trained through iPEC and holds a Diploma in Christian Counseling from the Psychological Studies Institute (now Richmont University).
Sue has worked both in the mental health and business fields.
Owning her own private practice in Winthrop since 2011, she has recently been working primarily with adults (including elderly adults) struggling with PTSD/trauma, grief, loss, relationship issues, sexual abuse, depression and anxiety.
